Access Melsec Medoc Plus 2.31a: Open .pcd file and share ladder diagram via PDF/screenshot

Question:

Do you have access to Melsec Medoc plus 2.31a to open a specific file (.pcd zipped in the provided link) and share a PDF/screenshot of the ladder diagram? We are in possession of an OEM file that can only be opened in a software that is not available online. This software requires a Win7 32bit computer to function properly, but unfortunately, the OEM that created it is unresponsive to our requests. If you can help, please reach out. Thank you. I am not familiar with Medoc 2.31a, as I have only used the DOS-based Medoc 2.31. It seemed to work on Windows XP, but I have also tested it on Windows 2000, 7, 8, and 10. Unfortunately, I do not have a portable floppy disk, so I will need to search my CD collection for the software. Please send me a private message with the file attached, and I will do my best to locate it and try to help. While I may be a bit rusty with the Medoc software, I am willing to give it a shot. Thank you, James.

I have the software on an outdated virtual machine, but your link is being blocked. I also possess installation media, however, this community strongly discourages the sharing of software.

Geoff White mentioned that the software is on an old virtual machine, but the link provided is being blocked. He also has installation media available, although sharing software is not favored on this forum. The alphabetic file extension list identifies .pcd as backup data for Mitsubishi GX IEC Developer, which is not related to Melsec Medoc software.

If you have a GXIEC software on your old Windows 7 laptop, feel free to message me. I can provide you with a PDF printout by email. Simply send me your email address as the file size might be too large to be posted here.

I wish I could assist you directly, but I no longer have access to a Win7 32bit machine to run Melsec Medoc. However, you might try reaching out to local universities or technical colleges with robust engineering departments. It's likely that they could still have older equipment and software for instructional purposes. In addition, some tech and retro-computing enthusiasts maintain older hardware and might have what you need. Check communities like Reddit's r/retrobattlestations. Good luck!

Hey there! I'd love to help but unfortunately, I don't have access to Melsec Medoc plus 2.31a. I'm aware that this specific software is essential for opening OEM files and it's a bummer that it isn't readily available online. I have dealt with similar situations and I recommend reaching out on specialized forums or finding a tech community who deal specifically with legacy software. Older institutions or schools may still operate on Win7 32 bit systems and they might have Melsec Medoc plus 2.31a. Good luck!
