The excessive amount of unnecessary information on each form and the numerous forms required to access data make the system cumbersome. We have even had to abandon our original method of categorizing parts in favor of using SAP ID numbers for equipment and parts, leading to a lack of logical sequence. Now, all employees in our organization utilize SAP PM & MM, regardless of their department or specialty. Previously, project personnel only used SAP MM for purchase requisitions, resulting in a lack of work order history. The complexity of SAP may be attributed to its multifunctional design, requiring users to become proficient in order to fully leverage its capabilities. I recall a design class where the professor mentioned that users typically only utilize 20% of a product's functionalities post-purchase, leaving the remaining 80% untapped.
