Hello everyone, I am currently encountering an issue when it comes to discussing machinery standards, particularly the ISO standards. I am unsure about the numbering system used in these standards and have been unable to find more information on it. Does anyone have a comprehensive list of ISO standards for machinery and equipment? Thank you for your assistance.
Check out this link to see if it provides the information you're looking for. Visit the International Organization for Standardization website to browse through their catalog. John from Pennsylvania shared this link: http://www.iso.org/iso/iso_cat...wse.htm?commid=51402.
Thank you very much, John. Unfortunately, I am unable to access the webpage through your link, but I was able to find the ISO catalogue at http://www.iso.org/iso/catalogue_ics.htm.
Sittipnu, I'm unsure why you are having difficulty accessing the link. Please try this alternative method: on the left-hand side of your screen, click on "by TC" to view the catalog organized by Technical Committee. The current link you are using lists standards "by ICS." After selecting TC108 from the list, you should be able to access the desired information. Thank you, John from PA.
Hi there, the ISO numbering system for machinery standards can indeed be a bit daunting at first. While I don't have a comprehensive list to hand, I can recommend checking the official ISO website. They maintain a complete, up-to-date list of their standards. You can use their search function and filter by the "Machinery" category. Also, it might be helpful to note that ISO standards are usually named with "ISO" followed by the standard number and year of publication, for instance, "ISO 9001:2015". Hope this helps!
While I don't have a comprehensive list on hand, I would recommend heading over to the ISO's official website. They actually have a standards catalogue, where you can sift through various topics and industries, including machinery and equipment. You can easily find standards information there by searching using keywords related to your area of interest. It's worth noting though that ISO numbers typically indicate the sequence in which standards were published, but it's not always a strict rule. I hope this helps, and good luck with your research!
