I'm a bit perplexed because the original poster mentioned having a PLC5 program that's built using RSLogix 500. With the upcoming release of Connected Components Workbench (CCW) version 11.1, expected later this year, there will be a new conversion tool available to facilitate the migration from RSLogix 500 to CCW. - Alan
The latest release of CCW version 11 launched just last week. I haven't had the opportunity to explore the new RSLogix 500 converter yet, but I'm eager to dive in soon!
Absolutely! Although CCW 11 has only been available for a few weeks, exciting enhancements are on the way later this year, including the highly anticipated RSLogix500 conversion tool. Currently, the software supports only the MicroLogix PLCs, excluding the SLC series. As new features are developed, they will seamlessly integrate into CCW 11 without requiring a complete re-download.
