Hello everyone, I'm seeking assistance with managing alarms on the Simatic TP1200 Comfort Panel. As a beginner, I'm struggling to figure out how to save alarms in a table format that operators can easily access on the screen. My goal is to allow operators to review all past alarms (within the constraints of memory capacity). Although I've found resources online about creating an alarm log, it seems that these mainly discuss exporting alarms to an external file. I'm unclear on how operators can view previously triggered alarms directly on the HMI screen. Could anyone provide guidance, a tutorial, or any relevant PDF resources? I would greatly appreciate any help you could offer. Thank you in advance!
Once you've created the alarm log, proceed to develop an alarm view that exclusively displays alarms recorded in the log.
The alarm view features a handy option for accessing alarm history, often referred to as the alarm buffer. This functionality allows the device to retain a record of up to 1,000 alarms, although the precise number may vary depending on the specific model.
User mk42 mentioned: The alarm view includes a useful feature known as alarm history, or alarm buffer. This function allows the device to retain a record of all alarms, typically storing the most recent 1,000 entries, though the exact number may vary depending on the model. Click to expand... This is precisely what I was looking for! Thank you! Now, my next step is to determine whether it's possible for the same alarm to be displayed without appearing multiple times in different states: - incoming (I) - incoming acknowledged (IA) - incoming acknowledged outgoing (AO) Currently, this results in the same alarm being listed on three separate lines, each reflecting a different status. I would prefer to have it consolidated into a single line with a dynamically updated status display.
I recently went through the WinCC V13 Manual and found the following statement: "An alarm encompasses the events: 'Incoming,' 'Outgoing,' and 'Acknowledge.' Each of these events triggers a new alarm that reflects the current status." Does this imply that dynamically updating the alarm status is not feasible within the same line? :/
I've successfully resolved the issue with the alarm filter string. A big thank you to everyone for your invaluable assistance! Your support made all the difference!
