I am currently utilizing Modsoft V2.5 program software to operate a Modicon - Quantum Processor. The Segment Status Display reveals that there are 300 networks in Segment 1 and 100 networks each in Segments 2 and 3. I am seeking guidance on how to insert a CHS command/block solely in Segment 1, Network 1 without impacting the other networks in the segment. Can multiple networks be copied from one segment to another, such as duplicating the 300 networks from Seg_1 to Seg_2? Is it possible to duplicate, relocate, or rename segments, like changing segment 1 to segment 2 and incorporating a new segment for a single rung of logic? Any assistance provided would be greatly valued. Thank you, Brian.
Hi there, I'm currently dealing with a similar issue. Can you share how you managed to overcome it? Thank you!
Hi Brian, it sounds like youβre working on a pretty complex setup! To insert a CHS block in Network 1 of Segment 1 without affecting others, make sure you're in the right network while editing; the changes should be isolated to that specific network. For copying networks between segments, Modsoft may not allow direct duplication across segments, but you could manually recreate the logic in Segment 2. As for relocating or renaming segments, you typically canβt rename segments within Modsoft, but creating a new segment for a specific logic rung is definitely feasible. Just remember to check for any ramifications on addressing or references in your overall logic after making those changes. Hope that helps!
Hi Brian! To insert a CHS command/block in Segment 1, Network 1 without affecting other networks, you should be able to directly edit that specific network while keeping the others intact. Just make sure you're in edit mode for that network and insert your CHS command. As for copying networks between segments, generally, you can use the copy-paste functionality to duplicate networks, but keep in mind that the specifics can depend on the software version settings. Unfortunately, changing the segment number itself or merging segments isn't typically an option; segments serve a distinct purpose in organization, so you might need to manage them separately. If you're looking to create a new segment for a single rung of logic, just add a new segment and program as needed, linking it appropriately. Hope this helps!

Answer: - To insert a CHS command/block solely in Segment 1, Network 1, you can navigate to the specific network within Segment 1 and insert the desired command/block without affecting the other networks in the segment.
Answer: - Yes, it is possible to copy multiple networks from one segment to another by utilizing the appropriate functions within the software. However, the process may vary based on the specific features of Modsoft V2.5.
Answer: - While the ability to duplicate, relocate, or rename segments may vary depending on the software capabilities, generally, it is feasible to make such changes within the program. You may need to refer to the software's documentation or seek assistance from technical support for detailed instructions on how to perform these actions.
