Encountering a common error message "cannot import file" in VES MeScope while trying to import an AutoCAD (*.dxf) file. Has anyone found a solution to this issue? Any recommendations, Jim P?
If your file extension is supported by Vibetech, you can import files using Mescope. If you're unsure about your current annual support agreement status, you can reach out to Vibetech support through this link: http://www.vibetech.com/go.cfm...us/content/contactus. Feel free to contact them for any assistance you may need. - Dave.
Thank you, Dave, for your response. I was expecting the software to successfully import this specific file extension, but unfortunately, I received a vague "Cannot import" error message. I will seek out some assistance to resolve this issue and will provide an update if I make any progress. Thank you, JP.
Hey Jim, I've encountered this issue too. It seemed to stem from an incompatibility between different versions of AutoCAD and MeScope. You may want to review the versions you're using and try updating them. Also, ensure that the DXF file isn't corrupted and that MeScope supports the DXF format that you're trying to import. I had to do some fiddling but eventually found a version combo that worked. Hope this helps!
