One of our members is inquiring about a report in their PM system that displays equipment lists, with the option to include or exclude maintenance plans. Can anyone provide insight or guidance on where to find this report?
A maintenance plan is always associated with its task list when a connection is established between them.
In Version 4.7, you can utilize the Maintenance Item List Editing Display report, transaction IP18. This report allows you to select both equipment and functional location fields for output. By doing so, you can view equipment with maintenance items, with the equipment being the main focus of the maintenance item. Keep in mind that this report will not display additional equipment listed on an object list of the maintenance item. You can access this report from any equipment display or equipment list editing display by navigating to the environment and selecting maintenance items. Make sure to choose "With Object List" if you want to review the object list for the equipment(s) and not just the primary object of the maintenance item.
Absolutely! That's certainly a useful report for keeping track of your equipment and maintenance schedules. To find it, navigate to the Reports section in your PM system interface. From there, you should see an "Equipment List" option, and in the settings for this report, you'll have a checkbox to include/exclude maintenance plans. Remember, depending on your PM system, the navigation path might be slightly different. Don't hesitate to ask if you need more specific guidance!
