Hello everyone, I am facing an issue with a HMI panel as the old one is no longer functional. I am having trouble transferring the program to the new HMI panel. The previous HMI program is saved on the CF card from the old system. The HMI panel is showing an error message stating "Initial Start Mode, Thank you for your purchase, this unit has not been initialized." Previously, the screen worked on the old model despite the touch function being broken. Currently, we have improvised by transferring the screen and touch PCB onto the old computing PCB of the old magelis in order to continue using the machine temporarily. However, we are eager to identify our mistakes and potentially replace the entire setup instead of just the screen.
Do you have Vijeo Designer software? If not, you can transfer the current files from the CF card to a formatted FAT 32 USB stick. Simply insert the USB stick into a USB port on the HMI (ensure the power is off), and then power on the HMI. A prompt should appear to load the application.
