I am currently integrating a FactoryTalk View SE Application with an existing ControlLogix system. Due to my remote access limitations, I can only connect to the PLC via a CLX Gateway, using an Ethernet Bridge and DHRIO card. During runtime, the application will communicate directly with the Ethernet network within the ControlLogix chassis. To leverage the capabilities of Event and Alarm features, I incorporated RSLinx Enterprise; however, I encountered challenges accessing the tags. To resolve this, I installed an additional OPC Server (RSLinx) with a matching topic or shortcut name to view the tags and test the display configurations. I've observed that when selecting tags from the online tag browser, a prefix appears before each tag, such as {:RSLinxEnterprise:[shortcut]tag} or {:RSLinx:[shortcut]tag}. My goal is to utilize RSLinx during the design phase and switch to RSLinx Enterprise during runtime. I've successfully accomplished this in the past, but I am currently facing difficulties. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
