This animated video showcases a bearing housing assembly for a quad St model with values removed for better visibility of movement. The center of the "B" bearing is highlighted in a different color for easier identification. Watch the video BearingHousingQuadSt.Avi for a detailed view.
Hello Jon McFadden, could you kindly run a simulation on this comprehensive dataset? I am eager to hear your analysis. Thank you.
Hello Kiavash, please ensure the accuracy of the orientation of your accelerometer. During the previous animation, I assumed that some of the readings were taken when the accelerometer was perpendicular to the surface. This can result in a 180-degree shift in some of the phase readings. One way to keep track of this is by indicating the normal directions with arrows. If the accelerometer is positioned differently than what is usual for you, adjustments should be made to the phase readings. If the reading is more than 180 degrees, subtract 180 degrees. If it is less than 180 degrees, add 180 degrees. In the animation database, corrections can be made by adding a minus sign in front of the DOF label. Please refer to the bubble chart for a visual representation of this method: Bubble Chart.
Hello Jon, I appreciate your comment and will be sure to attend to it. Thank you for the bubble chart.
