It's a shame that purchasing a new key for the software comes close to the program's total cost.
I was very diligent in safeguarding the key, Danny. I stored it securely in a pouch within my computer bag, alongside my passport. However, when I needed it to activate software on a new computer, the key was nowhere to be found. As I prepare for my next ODS/Modal assignment, the customer may incur an additional cost of around $2300.00 due to this unfortunate loss.
Do you suspect that someone from this online community may have taken it? It's common for things to go missing and turn up in unexpected places. I had a similar experience when I misplaced my MeScope key but eventually found it where I had left it. To prevent this from happening again, I added a contact number with a reward offer for its return. Hopefully, this precaution will ensure that I never have to rely on it being lost again. - Jim P.
Jim, I don't believe anyone took it. I'm optimistic that someone discovered it and consulted with a friend knowledgeable in Modal/ODS. I am confident that I will locate it in the final spot I search!
