Need Siemens USB to MPI/DP/PPI Drivers After Windows 10 Update – Help Needed!

Question:

Hello everyone, Before my computer initiated a Windows 10 update last night, my cable was functioning perfectly. Unfortunately, it's not working now. Does anyone have the drivers available? I’ve already submitted a request to Siemens, but I thought someone here might be able to assist. Thank you!

What type of adapter model do you have? I currently have the A2 drivers disc on my desk, but it only specifies compatibility up to Windows 7.

Although I'm not with Siemens, they conveyed a similar message. I need to find out what resources or orders you currently have. I do have some items, but it's important to note that our aftermarket cables do not require additional drivers, as they are already integrated into the Step7 and TIA Portal software."

Hello! I just received an email from Siemens regarding an issue with the cable malfunctioning after Windows updates past build 1607. I am currently in the process of rolling back the updates and am hopeful that this will resolve the problem.

Recently, many of our clients have encountered issues with their PG/PC Interface settings being automatically reset to S7ONLINE (STEP7) and appearing as empty following a Windows update. Fortunately, the solution is straightforward: simply reselecting the correct adapter resolves the issue.

A user named geniusintraining mentioned: "I received an email this morning (from someone named Scott, perhaps?). While I'm not Siemens, the message echoed similar sentiments. It's crucial to clarify what equipment or orders you currently have. I do possess some items; however, our aftermarket cables are designed to be driver-free since the necessary drivers are integrated within Step7 and the TIA Portal." If you wish to delve deeper into this topic, feel free to expand your inquiries!

Hey there! It sounds frustrating to deal with that right after an update. While I don’t have the drivers at hand, have you tried rolling back the update? Sometimes that can help restore functionality until you get the right drivers. Also, check the Device Manager to see if you have any devices with a warning symbol, which might point you to the problem. Good luck!
