I previously consulted Datastream about this issue, and they confirmed that quick work order updates do not contribute to hour accrual, which appears to be accurate. While the Quick Work order update may not include meter-related fields, you can utilize the Quick Meter Entry function found under Activities -> Equipment-> Quick Meter Entry.
