I have utilized both the old bootp tool from rockwell and the new eip addressing tool, as well as tried using rslinx classic and logix5000. However, I consistently receive a set attribute error from the module when attempting to disable bootp or manually set the IP address. Furthermore, Logix5000 simply closes out of module properties when I try to apply changes in run mode. I am currently operating on a 192.168.1 network and have resorted to manually setting the rotary switches. I am puzzled as to why I am unable to set the attribute regardless of the method used. I wonder if this issue is related to the fact that it is a safety block rather than regular IO. The firmware is up to date at version 1.012 from Rockwell. Despite my efforts, I have not been able to find all the rotary switch options for this specific module. I initially received the module with the rotary switches set to 999, which allowed me to set the IP address without any issues. However, navigating Rockwell's manuals has led me in circles between the specific product manual and their general Ethernet manual. If anyone has specific questions about settings, I am more than willing to provide pictures for clarification.

I am currently searching for this information. The manual only explains setting the last octet, not all the other options. The devices were originally set at 999, but I was able to set an IP address, leading me to believe this was correct. There may be another setting to configure an IP address and disable DHCP, but I have yet to find it.
As per the user manual, this device is only compatible with DHCP protocol.
