Hello, I'm experiencing difficulties connecting my PC to my PLC via Ethernet. I'm using SoMachine V4.2 with a TM251Mese controller that has the latest firmware installed. I have directly connected my PC to the PLC using an Ethernet cable and have attempted to use both Ethernet ports (1 and 2) on the PLC, although I understand that Ethernet port 1 is the recommended option. I can successfully log into the PLC using a USB connection, which I utilized to update the PLC's IP address and subnet mask settings. Currently, the PLC is configured with a static IP of 10.10.19.230 and a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0, with no gateway specified. Similarly, my PC's IP address is also set to a static one: 10.10.19.229 with the same subnet mask and no gateway. I am able to see the controller in the SoMachine interface and can even ping it over Ethernet; however, I am unable to log in. I've tested various IP addresses and subnet masks (including 255.255.255.0 and 255.0.0.0) on both the PC and the PLC. Additionally, I have disabled my Wi-Fi to ensure that only my wired Ethernet connection is active. At this point, I'm out of ideas on how to resolve this issue. I need to access my drives via an Ethernet connection while in the field, as the USB connection does not provide access. Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
In the device tree, verify whether the Somachine protocol is currently enabled.
The issue has been resolved. I accessed the Schneider Gateway management console and redirected the Local Area Network (LAN) to the updated IP address I had configured on my computer. The system was previously stuck on an outdated IP that was no longer in use.
