Hello everyone, I am currently experiencing an issue with my TIA Portal v15.1 installation. The PG/PC interface appears to be greyed out, and I am unable to select any interface other than TeleService. Additionally, within the Project tree's Online Access section, only 3 interfaces are visible (2-RS232 & Teleservice), with no ethernet interface available. During attempts to simulate in the Extended download to device window, no interfaces are listed. Although the Set PG/PC interface in the control panel shows S7OLINE as an access point, the interface parameter defaults to none. Despite trying various solutions from the Siemens website and Google, nothing has resolved the issue. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled all Siemens software, but the problem persists. All Siemens software was previously functioning correctly on my system, although I am unsure if any changes have been made recently. I have attached screenshots for reference. If anyone can offer assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello JesperMP, I wanted to express my gratitude as the issue has been resolved. I am now able to view all the necessary drivers. Your assistance has been invaluable and you are truly outstanding! Thank you.
Hi there! It sounds like quite a troublesome situation you're in. I faced a similar problem some time back and managed to solve it. Although it might seem basic, have you checked if the corresponding driver for your Ethernet card is installed and properly updated? TIA Portal may not recognize an interface if the corresponding driver is not installed or updated. Another suggestion would be to check if any third-party firewalls are blocking TIA Portal's access to your Ethernet interfaces, you might want to temporarily disable these to see if the problem persists. Just remember to turn them back on for security purposes afterward. Hope these suggestions help!
Hi there, I've faced a similar issue with my TIA portal before. It might be because your PC adapter isn't setup properly. What worked for me was accessing the device manager and checking if the adapter is listed under "Simatic devices". If it isn't, uninstall the adapter from the "network adapter" section, then re-install it by clicking "scan for hardware changes". It sounds a bit complex, but it's worth giving it a try. If this doesn't resolve the issue, it might be worth checking if your PC's ethernet card is working correctly or if any recent system updates have caused a compatibility issue. Good luck!
Hey there, This sounds like quite a hiccup! You mentioned that prior to this issue, all Siemens software was functioning appropriately. So, there might have possibly been a system change or update that's causing the glitch. One thing you might want to try is a system restore to a point before the issue surfaced. If that doesn't work, check if you have the latest version of your network adapter's driver installed; an outdated driver may cause problems with TIA Portal recognizing ethernet interfaces. Also, double-check your Windows firewall and anti-virus settings to make sure they aren't inadvertently blocking TIA Portal's access to the necessary interfaces. Hang in there, we'll get this sorted out!
Hi there! Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. From your description, it sounds like this could be an issue related to your PC adapter. If you're using an Ethernet adapter for connection, make sure it's properly installed and its drivers are up-to-date. Also, verify that your PC's firewall settings aren't blocking the TIA Portal. Another thing to check is your access point settings under 'Options' in the PG/PC interface, if you've not done it already. Lastly, an update to the latest SP or version of TIA Portal might help, as sometimes such glitches are tackled in the updated versions. Hope this helps and you get the issue sorted soon!
Hey! It sounds really frustrating to deal with that interface issue. Have you checked if your network adapter settings are properly configured for Ethernet connections? Sometimes the system defaults can get altered, especially if there were any recent updates or changes to your network settings. Additionally, make sure that the correct drivers for your Ethernet card are installed and up-to-date. If everything seems fine there and it's still acting up, Iād recommend checking if there are any specific Windows updates that might be conflicting with TIA Portal. Good luck!
It sounds really frustrating to deal with that issue! Have you checked if there are any updates or service packs available for TIA Portal v15.1? Sometimes newer versions can fix bugs or compatibility issues. Also, make sure that your PC's network settings are configured correctly and that the Ethernet adapter is enabled in the device manager. It might be worth trying to temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus software to see if that's blocking the connection. Good luck, and I hope you can get it sorted out soon!
