Hello, I am reaching out regarding a Mitsubishi MR-JE-70A Servo amplifier that is displaying the alarm code "AL 8A.1" upon powering on (please refer to the attached photos). Even after resetting, the alarm message continues to appear. The Servo drive does not have communication capabilities with a controller and solely receives control pulses from a PLC. I am seeking guidance on the interpretation of this alarm and steps to repair the servo amplifier. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Viraj Prasanna Gunawardana.
Greetings and a warm welcome to the forum! According to the documentation, there seems to be a timeout issue with communication over Modbus or USB. It appears that the system is set up to communicate with a Modbus client on a PLC. Can you explain how the PLC is programmed to send pulses to the servo amplifier? This information may help troubleshoot the communication issue effectively.
