Troubleshooting Modbus TCP Setup with Omron CJ2M-CPU33 PLC and ETN21 Modules

Question:

Subject: Assistance Needed for Modbus TCP Setup with CJ2M-CPU33 PLC Hello everyone, I'm currently configuring my PLC system, specifically using a CJ2M-CPU33 main rack. I've installed two CJ1W-ETN21 modules that I intend to utilize as Modbus TCP slaves. After successfully downloading and implementing the Modbus server Function Block for the first ETN21 module (inserted in slot 0), everything is functioning smoothly. However, I'm experiencing issues with the second ETN21 module located in slot 1. I've adjusted the Function Block to retrieve information from slot 1 (address 1525), but it is not performing as expected. Could anyone provide guidance on what might be going wrong? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I discovered the issue; the socket services parameter was not configured correctly. Dear colleagues, I am working on a setup that involves installing two CJ1W-ETN21 modules onto my CJ2M-CPU33 PLC main rack. These two ETN21 modules are intended to function as Modbus TCP slaves. I have successfully downloaded the Modbus server Function Block, and the first Modbus slave (connected to slot 0) operates perfectly. However, for the second ETN21 module located in slot 1, I attempted to modify the Function Block to retrieve data from the corresponding address (1525), but unfortunately, it did not work. Could anyone provide insights on what I might be overlooking? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Please feel free to click to expand...
