Experiencing difficulties with an older PanelView touch screen not responding properly? The screen is connected to a Desktop computer and is used as a touch display. Was the previous PC compatible with the touchscreen monitor? If it was, the issue might be due to a hardware failure or a driver compatibility problem caused by an OS update. What driver did you eventually use for the replacement unit? We upgraded several old monitors with the 6176M-15PT models, which required different driver packages: 6186M_6176M_Touch_EETI_XP_5.11.29.9628 and eGalaxTouch_5.14.0.15315. What operating system is running on your PC? We used the first driver for older XP systems, but you may need the eGalaxTouch driver for a newer OS. Unfortunately, I cannot provide much assistance with that. When we had to replace the original screen on a newer machine, we switched to an Exor unit after the 6176M was discontinued. This presented its own challenges, but that's a story for another time...

Hello, I am experiencing issues with my old 6176M-15PT touchscreen monitor. Although the monitor itself is functioning properly, the resistive touchscreen is not responding as expected. I am currently using a laptop running Windows XP Professional and have installed the eGalaxTouch drivers recommended by Joesph_e2. However, the touchscreen does not seem to be recognizing any input and I am unable to calibrate it. When I connect the touchscreen to my laptop via USB cable, I notice that the touch response is somewhat inaccurate - for example, when I touch the lower right corner, the mouse pointer appears in the upper left corner. I am seeking advice on how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Additionally, hbelec4, have you managed to resolve the issue you were experiencing?
