Hello everyone, we are currently facing an issue with the servo controller AZ 20 (an older model from AMK). The programming for it is done in APROS software. I am able to access the offline program and view the AWL file using notepad. However, I am in need of detailed documentation from the programming manual. Specifically, I am looking for the command that will move the axis to the setpoint position, as this controller can manage multiple axes. Despite searching for information online, I have not been able to find much on this topic. If anyone has experience with this controller and is willing to share their knowledge or provide the programming manual, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Hello there. I am currently holding AZ 20 modules that communicate via Profibus. Unfortunately, the AZ-PS5 board is malfunctioning. I am looking to upload the program using APROS or AIPAR software, but I do not have access to these programs. Could you kindly provide me with a copy?
Looking for help with an issue regarding the AZ 20 servo controller? Our team at sarana.automation is currently facing difficulties with this old AMK Servo controller and its programming in APROS software. While we can access the offline program, we are in need of the programming manual for further guidance. Specifically, we are looking for the command to move the axis to the setpoint position, as this controller manages multiple axes. Despite our efforts, information online is limited. If you have experience with this controller or access to the programming manual, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
In need of assistance
It appears that there is a shortage of apros programs available.
Hey there! I totally understand your struggle, these older controllers can be quite a puzzle when it comes to programming. I had a similar issue a while back with the AMK AZ 20. From what I remember, the command you're looking for to move the axis to the setpoint position is "Move_Absolute" or something along those lines. Unfortunately, I don't have the manual anymore, but if you contact AMK directly they might be able to provide you with a digital copy if nothing is available online. Good luck, and hope this helps a bit!
Hi there, I remember grappling with AZ 20 myself a while back. To move the axis to the specified setpoint position, the command you're looking for is typically 'MovetoSP' or 'MSP'. However, AMK's syntax might be different. Please be aware that it may take some tweaking as setpoint controls can differ based on the specific axis configurations. I don't have the manual at hand right now, but I hope this sets you in the right direction. If available, I recommend reaching out to AMK's customer service or technical support for the original programming manual. It could be really helpful as the interfaces in their older models can be a bit tricky to understand.
Hey there, it indeed sounds like you're dealing with a tricky situation. Unfortunately, detailed documentation for older models like the AZ 20 can be rough to find online. However, in my past experiences with AMK controllers, the command to move the axis to a setpoint is usually something along the lines of "Moveto Setpoint" or "Position Move". Without the exact manual, it could be difficult to be sure. If you haven't already, I would suggest reaching out to AMK support directly. They've been pretty helpful in the past with similar issues. Good luck!
