I am seeking assistance with establishing communication between the Siemens S7-300 CPU and the ABB AC500 using the Siemens PN-PN coupler (model 6ES7 158-3AD01-0XA0). Is your device not functioning anymore, or are you attempting to set it up from the beginning? Have you properly assigned the Ethernet address to ensure successful configuration?
I noticed you didn't bring it up—do you happen to have the Profibus or Profinet module for the AC500 series? It appears that the AC500 PLCs do not include built-in support for Profinet connectivity.
