Troubleshooting Tag Imports in Logic 5000 Controller: Common Errors and Solutions

Question:

Hello everyone! I’ve recently added a remote rack of control logic cards to my system. The integration was successful, as I connected the cards to the controller via the ENBT module, and the entries were created in the database without issues. Currently, I have exported my tag database in CSV format and I'm attempting to add over 200 new points and tags. However, when I try to import, I encounter an error message stating, "The CSV schema or Record line is invalid. A syntax error was found while scanning the import file." As an update, I made another attempt, ensuring that the new tags were inserted in alphabetical order, but now I receive an error indicating that "one or more arguments are invalid." Rockwell is also unsure about the origin of this error. I would greatly appreciate any insights you might have. It seems like I might be overlooking a simple step. Thank you for your help!

I'm not entirely certain what adjustments I've made, but I've successfully imported all of my tags, with the exception of some duplicates that I still need to address. Problem solved!

Please share the files with us so we can also test them. Did you export your complete tag database, make additions, and then attempt to re-import it?

User jstolaruk remarked: "Please upload the files so we can attempt to assist you as well. Have you tried exporting your complete tag database, making additions, and then re-importing it?" Click to expand... "Yes, that’s precisely what I did. I replicated the formatting and columns from the existing tags. The only difference this time is that I arranged them in alphabetical order, while also incorporating the boolean data type and the radix information."
