Hello Members, I am currently experiencing an issue with uploading data from my Wilcoxon MAC 800 Vibration meter to the Data mate software. Despite numerous attempts, some of the collected data is not being uploaded to the database. I previously sent my equipment to address memory errors and data upload problems, but no solution was found. The software and meter were reportedly free of issues, and even after updating the firmware, the problem persists. Additionally, I consistently encounter a memory error that requires me to remove and reinsert the batteries. Thank you, Kishore Kumar Agguna.
While I personally do not utilize the Wilcoxon system, it appears that you may be experiencing a cache-related issue. Hopefully, someone else within this community can offer assistance. If anyone has insight into resolving the data uploading problem with the Wilcoxon MAC 800, please share your expertise. The issue seems to involve difficulties in uploading collected data from the Wilcoxon MAC 800 Vibration meter to the Data mate software, resulting in some data being unable to be uploaded into the database. Despite attempts to address this problem, including equipment checks for Memory error and data upload issues, as well as software and firmware updates, the issue persists. It seems that every time a Memory error occurs, the solution is to remove and reinsert the batteries. Your input and support are greatly appreciated in resolving this frustrating issue. Thank you.

The issues I am facing include: 1. Inability to upload some collected data from the Wilcoxon MAC 800 Vibration meter to Data mate software despite numerous attempts. 2. Previous attempts to resolve memory errors and data upload problems by sending the equipment for inspection yielded no results. 3. The company confirmed that no software or meter issues were detected. 4. Updated firmware with no improvement. 5. Constantly needing to reset the batteries due to recurring memory errors. ------------------------------ Kishore Kumar Agguna ------------------------------
Hi Kishore, I've had similar experiences with my MAC 800 meter. If data isn't uploading correctly, it can be due to various factors. In my case, I found that a corrupted file was causing the trouble. I recommend checking your uploaded files one by one to see if they upload correctly individually. As for the memory error, it might be due to your batteries' age or poor contact within the compartment. I found that replacing my batteries and cleaning the battery compartment contacts helped in my case. If the problem continues, you may need to consider contacting the manufacturer directly for more technical support. Hope this helps!
Hi Kishore, sorry to hear about your ongoing struggle. Given what you've described, this indeed seems like a persistent issue. I don't have an immediate solution, but I have faced a similar problem before with a different device. I had to double-check the compatibility between the software and the device again. It turned out that the supposedly 'compatible' versions were actually mismatched due to an overlooked minor update on my device side. You might want to look into this aspect if you haven't already. As for the recurring memory error, it's unusual for it to be remedied by battery removal, usually these are two unrelated systems. It might be symptomatic of a deeper issue - perhaps a hardware problem, or a bug within the firmware itself. Just a thought!
Hello Kishore, it sounds like you're struggling with a particularly pesky issue. Just to rule out all the possibilities, have you checked if your data is within the allowable size limit for uploads to the Data mate software? Sometimes, large data sets might cause problems during uploading. For the consistent memory error, it could be an indication of a faulty battery connection. Perhaps the battery holder or terminal needs a closer look or even replacement, given that removing and reinserting the batteries temporarily fixes the error. If all else fails, it could be worthwhile to reach out to the Wilcoxon tech support for further assistance, as they might be familiar with such issues given the intricate details of their product.
Hello Kishore, It seems like a vexing problem indeed. I had a similar issue a while back. Apart from your steps, one thing that helped me was to check the compatibility of the software with the current operating system. Sometimes, the updates do not sync well with older systems. Also, did you look into the formatting of the data before uploading? It might impact how the software reads it. Lastly, regarding the memory error, it could be due to a worn-out battery slot or loose connectors, causing the meter not to draw power correctly. Consider getting it checked by a local electronics expert. Hope this helps. Hang in there, tech issues like these can be frustrating but are almost always solvable.
Hi Kishore, it sounds really frustrating to deal with those persistent issues. Have you tried checking the compatibility of the Data Mate software with your current OS version? Sometimes, even small updates on the operating system can cause hiccups with data communication. Also, it might be worth investigating if there’s a specific sequence you should follow when uploading the data, as that can sometimes trigger errors. Lastly, if the meter still shows memory errors even after servicing, it might be something deeper with the unit—consider reaching out to Wilcoxon directly for more targeted troubleshooting. Hope you get it sorted soon!
